This entry will be used to communicate the latest updates on the celebrations planned for June 17, 2008 by the First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco.

- Celebrations start at 8 am at City Hall where we give out wedding gifts and wedding (CUP)cakes. Ministers will be at our Celebration Central to marry couples for free! Church Members and clergy will be cheering on couples until 7:30 pm.
- Don Williams and David Jones, “long-time companions” of 30 years , will be married by Senior Minister Rev. Gregory Stewart inside City Hall at 2 pm.

Re: ENTRY TO DAVID AND DON’W WEDDING
Don and David are getting married at 2 pm inside City Hall (we don’t know what corner will be free at that time).
There’s no password: City Hall is a public building, so we will be able to go in and gather in celebration. Look for the crowd in blue t-shirts!
43 Volunteers Signed Up to Celebrate at City Hall Tomorrow
Liz Strand will let the other volunteers know where the Celebration Van is when she meets us at the Civic Center Plaza across Polk Street from City Hall. The Something Blue bands and cupcakes will be staged from the CV.
The location of the van will also be posted here (down below, in a later entry).
Forty-three people have signed up for time slots throughout the day to celebrate and support newlyweds. If you haven’t signed up for a particular hour, just drop by when you’re in a mood to smile and cheer.
Celebration Central Van is on Polk Street!
Liz Strand reports that the Unitarian Universalist celebration van is on Polk Street. If you walk out of City Hall on the plaza side and use the cross walk, we’re three spaces to the left across from City Hall.
